EuroEyes LEC London and London Vision Clinic proudly hosted their first collaborative CPD event for optometrists on Sunday, 6th July 2025, bringing together professionals from across the UK for a full day dedicated to the evolving treatment landscape of presbyopia.
Held at the prestigious Royal College of Physicians in London, the seminar was a huge success! Offering attendees a rare opportunity to hear directly from some of the most respected names in ophthalmology.

The day opened with a keynote from Jørn Jørgensen, setting the tone with a forward-looking exploration of the future of presbyopia care. Throughout the day, attendees heard from leading experts including:
- Prof. Dan Reinstein on the biological mechanism of presbyopia
- Mr. Fadi Kherdaji covering lens-based surgical approaches

The event closed with a collaborative session highlighting the BEDR App, a tool designed to strengthen communication between ophthalmology and optometry, and an optional workshop on Dry Eye Management led by Sharon Ritchie and Keith McKay.
