Dr. Yijun Cai graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine before embarking on an impressive early career focused on ophthalmology. During his medical training, he completed a research elective at the world-renowned Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University in the United States, gaining valuable experience at one of the world’s leading eye centres.
Following qualification, Dr. Cai began his specialist ophthalmology training within the London Deanery, developing his surgical and clinical expertise across several of the UK’s most respected teaching hospitals.
