EuroEyes Completes Acquisition of FYEO, Creating Europe’s Leading Refractive Surgery Platform
We are delighted to announce that EuroEyes has successfully completed its acquisition of Dutch eye clinic group FYEO.
Following the signing of the agreement earlier this year, the transaction was completed this week, marking an important milestone in the history and continued international growth of EuroEyes.
The acquisition brings together two of Europe’s most respected and innovative providers of refractive eye surgery. FYEO has experienced significant growth in recent years and established itself as a market leader in the Netherlands, providing advanced treatments that help patients reduce or eliminate their dependence on glasses and contact lenses.

The enlarged group will have particular expertise in helping patients over the age of 45 reduce their dependence on reading glasses and varifocals, with many suitable patients able to achieve a high degree of freedom from glasses following treatment.

Dr Jørn Jørgensen will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer of the EuroEyes Group, ensuring continuity in the organisation’s long-term vision, clinical direction and international strategy.
FYEO Managing Director Rens Schoenmakers will take on the role of General Manager Europe. He will lead the operational development and integration of the Group’s European businesses.
